Recipe Details:
This is a recipe for a very light and easy to cook appetizer that is diabetic-friendly and full of delicious flavor – a perfect fit for meat and fish dishes.


Ingredients:
  • Medium bell peppers – 4
  • Garlic (minced) – 5 cloves
  • Reduced sodium soy sauce – 3 tbsp.
  • Honey – 2 tbsp.
  • Oregano – 1 tsp.
    Recipe Directions:
    Step 1
    Preheat oven to 360 F. Wash the peppers and bake for 40 minutes.
    Step 2
    Remove the pepper from the oven and put it in a plastic bag while it’s still hot. Tie the bag tightly and leave for 15 minutes, then remove the skin from the peppers.
    Step 3
    For the sauce, combine the soy sauce, minced garlic, honey, and oregano. Mix well.
    Step 4
    Cut the pepper into strips, season with marinade and refrigerate for 4-8 hours.
    Step 5
    Take out of the fridge, serve and enjoy!
