Recipe Details:
Try this recipe for fried broccoli in a skillet and you will definitely add this diabetic-friendly dish to your regular lunch or dinner menu.


Ingredients:
  • Broccoli – 1.8 lb.
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp.
  • Water – 3 tbsp.
  • Salt and ground black pepper – to taste
    Recipe Directions:
    Step 1
    Divide the broccoli into inflorescences and cut them into pieces. Cut the broccoli stems into thin slices.
    Step 2
    Heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Fry the chopped broccoli stalks for 2 minutes without stirring.
    Step 3
    Mix in the broccoli inflorescences. Fry the broccoli mix without stirring until light golden brown (approx. 2 minutes).
    Step 4
    Add salt and pepper to the water and stir until the salt dissolves. Pour the salted and peppered water into the frying pan with broccoli. Simmer the broccoli covered for 2 minutes.
    Step 5
    Remove the lid from the broccoli and cook it until the liquid has evaporated for 2 more minutes. Serve and enjoy!
