Step 1 Make a sauce. Preheat oven to 350F. Pour flax seeds into a small baking dish and roast for 10 minutes. Let the seeds cool. Step 2 Put the roasted flax seeds into a coffee grinder and grind until the seeds turn into powder. Step 3 In a small bowl, mix grinded flax seeds, garlic, shallots, lettuce, olive oil, vinegar, water, and mustard. You will get about half a cup of sauce. Step 4 Steam broccoli. Pour about a quarter of an inch of water into a high-sided skillet and bring it to boil over medium heat. Then, add broccoli and cover the skillet with a lid. Let the broccoli steam up to 5 minutes, until it gets tender and remove the broccoli from the skillet. Step 5 In a large bowl, mix pieces of baked salmon, broccoli, red onion, cucumbers, and spinach. Step 6 Pour the dressing over the salad and mix everything together. Step 7 Put the ready salad on a plate and serve.
