Turkey kebab is perfect for people, who watch their figure. Turkey meat is very lean and therefore, diabetic-friendly. And if you marinade it properly, it will be tender, juicy, and delicious.
Ingredients:
Turkey breast (cut in cubes with 1.25” each side) – 1.8 lb.
Step 1 In a bowl, mix lemon juice, vegetable oil, black pepper and saffron. Step 2 Put the pieces of turkey in the bowl with the marinade. Mix the turkey pieces well for the marinade to cover the meat evenly. Tightly cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and refrigerate for two hours. Step 3 Prepare skewers: Put the wooden skewers in the cold water for 2 hours. Step 4 Place the meat cubes on the skewers. Make sure they don’t fit too tightly to each other. Step 5 Preheat oven to 350 F. Cover a baking sheet with wax paper and place the skewers with meat on it. Bake in the oven for 12 minutes. Flip them over and bake for another 12 minutes or until the turkey is cooked. Serve and enjoy!
